Stan Waterhouse


For over 30 years he has specialized in complex real estate developments focusing on business expansion, finance and property management within the hospitality, leisure and multifamily segments. Recently serving as Chief Operating Officer for the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso, Stan directed a wholesale reorganization of its operational model, creating world-class customer service and transforming the real estate portfolio through a $600 million renovation utilizing HUD’s Rental Assistance Demonstration project. He currently serves as the Vice Chairman for Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation, which develops and manages over $1B in resort quality senior living facilities in Texas and Indiana. Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Ginn Resorts, Vice President for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, and Regional Vice President for ClubCorp. Stan received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wake Forest University.

Glenn Bodinson


Since 1989 Glenn has helped organizations become more productive, profitable, and fun places to work in by harnessing the power of performance excellence. He consistently produces profound results for clients across America by applying the Baldrige Criteria and lean tools, systems, and principles of the Shingo Prize. Glenn is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, (FACHE), and a Fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), and Certified Manager of Quality/ Organizational Excellence (CQM/OE). He serves on the Board of Directors of a large healthcare system in Texas. Glenn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Michigan State University.

Leopoldo Gemoets, PhD.


Dr. Gemoets currently serves as the Associate Professor of Information Technology in the Department of Information and Decision Sciences at the University of Texas at El Paso. He is the founder Director of UTEP’s Research Center for Entrepreneurial Development Advancement and Research and a former NASA Faculty Fellow with the California Institute of Technology. Leo has over 25 years of experience in developing and implementing information technology solutions for industry and government; he is an expert in E-Commerce, Smart Communities, Strategic use of IT, ERPs and CRMs. Dr. Gemoets has directed commercial IT projects to customers such as El Paso Energy, El Paso Electric Company, Delphi Automotive, Scientific Atlanta and CAPSONIC Automotive. Leo holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Texas at El Paso, a MS in Physics from the University of Texas at El Paso and a DS in Environmental Engineering from Saint Lucia Health Sciences University.

Eddie Karam


Since 1974, Eddie has been active in the real estate industry through all its segments –brokerage, construction, development, and renovation in both residential and commercial properties. He has been involved in every aspect of the business; however, his accomplishments in turning depressed properties into income-producing assets are legendary. Community involvement has included terms on the Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Airport Board, City Charter Re-write Committee, and the Vestry and Trust Committee of the Church of St. Clement. Now residing in Austin, Texas, he sits on a Municipal Utility District Board and Chairs the Annual Samaritan Center Golf Tournament, which provides Mental Health Programs for families and veterans. Eddie also remains actively involved in community and real estate organizations. He holds a BBA from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Kay Kendall


For over 20 years Kay has been a quality executive leading large-scale change initiatives across diverse industries – government, aerospace, semiconductor automation equipment, computers and storage devices, and pharmaceuticals. She completed a five-year assignment as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. She also has extensive experience using the Baldrige Criteria, Lean, Balanced Scorecards, Hoshin Kanri, and benchmarking to deliver results. Kay holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University with a major in microbiology and an MBA from the University of Arizona Eller School of Business.
